Hosted by Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue.
This will be a fast paced 5 day NFPA compliant course that prepares first responders for a wide variety of water rescue calls.
Students will receive Swiftwater Rescue Technician and Surface Water Rescue Technician certifications.
Class participants will gain skills and knowledge beyond NFPA requirements.
Students will get instruction in working with a variety boat types, receive an introduction to FEMA boat positions and gain confidence through hands on scenarios.
Course Size is limited to 18 students
All students will be required to pass a NFPA aquatic stability swim test day 1.
