School Education Programs Overview

Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue works hard to provide fire and life safety education to students in our community. We partner with our local schools, and work with teachers from elementary to high school, to teach a variety of developmentally appropriate lessons about fire and life safety. The lessons incorporate key concepts outlined in the Learn Not To Burn curriculum designed by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Our lessons are also aligned with Common Core State Standards. We attempt to visit all of the Kindergarten, 2nd Grade, and 4th Grade classrooms in our district and offer both in-person and virtual visits.
